When starting up your own business, you are usually motivated and can’t wait for it all to begin. You start and think this all will be great. But then after a while, you realise that it is hard work and you might start to doubt yourself and your business idea. Sounds familiar?
Lots of entrepreneurs and start-ups have this doubt after a while. Why me? Will my business succeed? What makes me different from my competitors?
One important step to be ensured you are doing the right thing, is preparation. Have you done market research? Do you know what makes you different to you competitors? What do your competitors charge and what do you? Have you tested your idea/product? A good preparation is everything and will help you avoiding mistakes and wasting money.
One thing that you can do to stay confident and motivated is something that I call a feedback scrapbook. Have a physical or digital scrapbook in which you collate all the positive feedback you are getting regarding yourself and your business. Print it off, put it on the wall or in your book. Review it regularly and especially when you feel down.
There are also different NLP (Neuro Lingusitic Programming) techniques that help people to grow confidence. I use these techniques myself in my program.
What do you do to grow your confidence? Share something in my facebook group to help others.
