Does your start-up need a business plan?
Well, I say, it depends on what you need and what you want to achieve with the business plan. If you need investment, then they will want to see a proper business plan. If you want clarity for yourself, go through most parts of a business plan. To minimize the risk of failing with your start-up I recommend to create a business plan – even if it is not in too much depth. You could start with a Business Canvas.
Here are the parts of a business plan:
- Executive summary
- Mission statement
- Products and services
- Market and competitors
- Your proposition
- Marketing strategy
- Sales strategy
- Financial data
- Management and personal
- SWOT analysis
- Ownership and legal structure
